The decomposed corpse, which, be ing illuminated by a rush light, im agines that it is a whole electric light system, and which continues to edit the Nebraska Laborer for reasons still unknown, devotes the greater part of its space to a roast of the Topics Department this week. It is a refrigerator roast. Tho corpse in question goes on to t show that tho grammar used in this home depart ment is faulty, proclaiming that the expression "or anybody else's sun light" is incorrect. It should have been "or anybody's else sunlight." How beautiful upon the mountains are the footsteps of the raving maniac who prefers ironclad rules to custom! Custom is responsible for mo3t of tho things we write. Custom endorses "anybody else's" where it would frown Upon "anybody's else." Were it not for the custon that permits men of unbalanced mind to roam at large, the Laborer would no longer have an imbecile for an editor. Ne braslca State Journa.
