Sixth Street Improvement
Kotice.
Xotice is hereby given that the Com
mon Council propose to order the im
provement of that portion of West
Sixth street in the city of Astoria as
laid out and recorded by J. 51. Shively
in Clatsop county, Oregon, from the
south side of Water street to the south
side of Cedar street, by removing all de
fective piles, caps and stringers and re
placing them with new and .-ound piles,
caps and stringers, and by raising it to
the established grade, and by planking
the samp with new and sound lir plank
four inches in thickness to the full
width of the street, and by building
sidewalks on both sides of said portion
of said street. Said improvement to be
made at tho expense of the adjacent
properly. And unless a remonstrance
signed by the owners of two-thirds of
the properpty fronting on said portion
of said street be filed with the Auditor
and Police Judge within ten d.iys
after the final publication of this notice,
to wit; On or before Saturday April
20th 18S9 the Common Council will
order said improvement to be made.

as laid out and recorded by John McOlure, from the west side of Main street to
the western end of Ciienamus street, iu the manner provided by oidinauce Xo.
1070, and which ordinance w.is approved on the 13th day of March, 18S9, on each
of the following desciibed lot-: ami portions ot lots and blocks fronting on any
portion ot said portion of said i-' net, is now payable at the office of the city
