Therefore, the importance of early and effective treatment cannot be overestimated. Ayer's Cherry Pec toral may always bo relied upon for the speedy cure of a Cold or Cough. Last January I was attacked with a severe Cold, which, by neglect and fre quent exposures, became worse, finally settling on my lungs. A terrible cough soon followed, accompanied by pains in the chest, from which I suffered intense ly. After trying various remedies, with out obtaining relief, I commenced taking Ayer's Cherry Pectoral, and was Speedily Cured. I am satisfied that this remedy saved my life. Jno. "Webster, Pawtucket, R. I. I contracted a severo cold, which suddenly developed into Pneumonia, presenting dangerous and obstinate symptoms."' My physician ordered the use of Ayer's Cherry Pectoral. His in structions were followed, and the result was a rapid and permanent cure. H. E. Stimpson, Rogers Prairie, Tex. Two years ago I suffered from a severe Cold, which settled on my Lungs. I con sulted various physicians, ana took the uisdicines they prescribed, but received only temporary relief. A friend induced mo to try Ayer's Cherry Pectoral. After takine two bottles of this medicine I was cured. Since then I have given the Pec toral to my cnuurcn, ana consider it The Best Remedy for Colds, Coughs, and all Throat and Lung diseases, ever used in my family. Robert Vanderpool, Meadville, Pa. Some time ago I took a slight Cold, which, being neglected, grew worse, and settled on my Lungs. I had a hacking cough, and was very weak. Those who knew mo best considered my life to be iu reat danger. I continued to suffer until I commenced using Ayer's Cherry Pectoral. Less than ono bottle of this valuable medicino enred me, and I feel that I owe tho preservation of my life to its curative powers. Mrs. Ann Lockwood, Akron, New York. Ayer's Cherry Pectoral is considered, here, the one great remedy for all diseases of the throat and lungs, and 13 more in demand than any other medicine of its class. J. Ga., August 11, 1337. The Swift Specific Co., Atlanta. Ga.: Gentlemen I have been amlcted with ulceration of the lees ever since 1 was a child, the disease undoubtedly being here ditary, as my mother suffered from scroful ous symptoms. As I advanced to manhood my affliction Increased until the malady became harassing and painful beyond the power of words to describe. My right leg particularly became fearfully Involved, the left leg being less painfully affected. Finally, about fourteen years ago, the ulcers on my right leg had eaten through the flesh Into the bone. In order to save my life the doc tors determined to amputate my leg below the knee. The operation was successfully performed by Dr. H. V. M. Miller, of Atlanta, and Dr. W. P. Bend, of Lit h on la. But the loss of my leg gave me only temporary re lief. The poison was still In my system and soon began to show itself again. In a short time after large ulcers appeared on my left leg, covering it from the knee to the Instep. Frequently while at work I could be tracked by the blood which oozed from the huge ulcers, and the sore and rottenlng holes were so offensive that my fellow-workmen could not stand .the stench and would move away from me. Last winter I was persuaded to try a S. 3. As a last effort I consented to do so, and about seven months ago I began taking the Specific, I soon began to feel the good effects or the medicine, the offensive running began to grow less and less and finally ceased, the ulcere healed, my flesh became firm and solid, and to-day, after using twenty-one bottles, I am as hale and stout a man of my age as there Is In Oe orgla. I am seventy-one years old, but feel now younger and stronger than I did when I was twenty -five. 1 weigh about 170 pounds. Nothing Is to be seen of the terrible disease, or to remind me of the torture I suffered for so many years, except the scars of the perfectly healed ulcers. I want the world to know of the almost miraculous cure effected on me by S. 8. 3., and I call upon those who wish to know the particulars directly from me to write, and I will consider it a pleasure as well as a duty to answer their letters. I refer to Dr. W. P. Bend, of Llthonla, as to the truth of my statement. Very gratefully yours, B. Drake. Treatise on Blood and Skin Diseases mailed free. The Swift Specific Co Drawer 3.
