The most pathetic case ,in Bon hommie county (where alone sixty or seventy persons froze to death) is that of farmer Field near- Avon. Ho had been to town to sell some corn. The storm broke oui on his return trip. His horse stumbled and fell and could not be made to rise again. Farmer Field contin ued his way on foot and had got ten nearly home when exhaustion and cold seized him and ho fell down and died. Toward evening his wife seized with terror and un rest, dressed herself and went out to search for her liubband, leaving the twoltttla children in the house by a warm htmv. After stumb ling atound for a tfiousandyards in the Lliiniiijo-aj-ovv stotm she too became benumbed and stumbled over something in the road. She fell and died. The next dav the neighbois, fo-ind her frozen stiff in the road leaning over the corpse of her huM-a ,ii. He had been that something whioh had brought her to the "round. The two little children were likewise found dead in the house, the fire having gone out in the stove when the mother had not returned, and the little ones freezing to death. Chicago Herald. Failing Health. Ten years ago my health began to fail. I was troubled with a distressing Cough, Night Sweats, "Weakness, and Nervous ness. I tried various remedies pre scribed by different physicians, out became so weak that I could not go up staira without stopping to rest. My friends recommended me to try Ayer's Sarsaparilla, which I did, and 1 am now as healthy and stTone as ever. Mrs. E. L. "Williams, Alexandria, Minn. I have used Ayer's Sarsaparilla, in my family, for Scrofula, and know, if it is taken faithfully, that it will thoroughly eradicate this terriblo disease I have also prescribed it as a tonic, as well as an alterative, and must say that I honestly believe it to be the best blood medicine evercompounded. "W.F. Fowler, M.D., u. v. ., ureenvute, lenn. Dyspepsia Cured. It would be inipossible for mo to de scribe what I suffered from Indigestion" and Headache up .to tho time I began taking Ayer's Sarsaparilla. I wa3 under tho care of various physicians, and tried a great many kinds of medicines, but never obtained more than temporary re lief. After taking Ayer's Sarsaparilla for a short time, my headache disap- 8 cared, and my stomach performed its uties more perfectly. To-day my health is completely restored. Mary Harley, Springheld, Mass. I have been greatly benefited by the prompt use of Ayer's Sarsaparilla. It tones ana invigorates me system, regu lates the action of the digestive and assimilative organs, and vitalizes the blood. It is, without doubt, tho most reliable blood purifier yet discovered. H.
