BOUND TO SEE A HANGING. In one of the southern counties of Arkansas recently, a man "was sen tenced to be hanged; but a few hours before the time of execution a dis patch from tho governor announced that the sentence had been commuted to imprisonment for life. Tho large crowd of people that had assembled to witness tho tragedy exhibited great disappointment at the shameful action of the governor, and threats that the prisoner would bo lynched were made. Some time during the afternoon, when the excitement was at its height, tho sheriff received tho following communicatien: AfrsTKit SuERirr: As I am about the only scholar ot anv note in this ! great concouise of folks, I have been app intetl to send thus here dockment expressive of our feelm s. e have come here to see a fellar nuug, an we're goin' to seo him hung if there's money enough in the crowd to buy a rope. We don't know whuther he's p'ilty or not, an' we don't kero a dried apple doggon. That ain't none of our bus'ness. Thar's many young women in this here crowd who, if diaupp'intcd now won't never have no confidence iu man. It ain't right to cast a damper over young lives. I know of one youug fellar of high character that has just married the putties kind of a gal on the strength of fetchin' her here to Bee this here shindig, and if the thing don't turn out to be a success, blamed if I don't think she will apply for a divorce. That young fellar is me, an that young gal is my wife.'' Arkansaw Traveler. PILES! PILES! PILES! A SURE CURE FOUND AT LAST! NO ONE NEED SUFFER. A suro cure for Blind, Bleeding4 Itching and Ulcerated Piles has been discovered by Dr. "Williams (an Indi an Remedy,) called Dr. William's In dian Pile Ointment. A single .box has cured tho worst chronic cases of 25 or 30 years standing. No one need suffer five minutes after applying this wonderful soothing medicine. Lotions instruments and electuaries do more harm than good. William's Indian Pile Ointment absorbs the tumors, allays the intense itching, (particular ly at night after getting warm in bed,) acts as a poultice, gives instant relief. and is prepared only for Piles, itching of tho private parts, and for nothing else. Read what the Hon. J. M. Coffiuber ry ot Clevelnud says about Dr. WTil liam's Indian Pilo Ointment: I have used, scores of Pilo Cures, and it af fords me pleasuro to say that I have never found anything which gave such immediate and permanent relief as Dr. WTilliam's Indian Ointment. Hon. Judge "W. P. Coons, Maysville. Ky., says: "I have suffered for years with itching piles, and have used many remedies. I havo used Dr. Wil liam's Indian Pile Ointmeutand been cured while every other remedy has failed." For sale by all druggists and mailed on receipt of price, $1.00.
