Henrv Smith and Nicho las Mosher, "were drowned on Christ mas eve about a mile and a half above Sunshine. They had been over to the head of tho bay, and stopped at Mr. Holm's, a brother-in-law of Smith's, and stayed tlierc until near twelve o'clock, "when they got into their boat and started for home. Next morning their boat was found and the body of Mr. Smith, but that of Mr. Mosher has not been recovered. Mr. Smith was one of the oldest settlers on Shoalwater bay. Mr. Mosher was a native of New Brunswick, from where he came to this place about a year ago. He has a family in New Uruns wick. Pacific Journal.
