Election proceeding quietly; at half-past one fully three-fourths of the total vote has been cast There ia heavy scratching. Two more arrests for fraudulent voting. New Yobk, Nov. 4. The Herald says both sides claim New Hamp shire. In 33 election districts out side of city and Brooklyn show a net Democratic gain of 1,079 votes. The Sun's bulletin says Cleveland has carried the state of New York. Twenty-five towns in Connecticut give Blaine 5,734; Cleveland 5,154. New Yobk, Nov. 4. The Herald's bulletin says returns from Massachu setts indicate the state in doubt; plu rality will not be more than 5,000 either way. Atlanta, Nov. 4. A light vote. Many negroes rejeoted because not registered. Cleveland's majority in the state estimated at 40,000. Netv Yobk, Nov. 4. The Sun says Cleveland has carried the state by 40,000 majority. Cleveland's majority in Brooklyn is 20,000. Blaine carried but one ward in New York city. The Times bulletin says in 298 election districts in the state Cleveland's ma jority is 14,532. Two hundred and fifty four districts outside the city and Brooklyn give Blaine 62,186, Cleveland -52,009, Butler 1,617, St Johft 3,605; a net Democratic gain of 3,278. The Herald says 380 districts give Cleveland 18,657 majority. The pres ent outlook gives him the state by 50,000 majority. -St. Lotis. The probabilities are that 14 Democratic congressman are elected in Missouri; one possibly doubtful . Gen. Marmaduke, Demo cratic candidate forgovernorig eleot ed by the usual majority. Chicago, Nov. 4. 14 precincts in Illinois outside of Cook county, show a net Democratic gain of 307. Cincinnati, Nov. 4. S3 wards and precincts in Ohio show a net Kepub lican gain of 916. The Republicans claim about 5,009 majority in Hamil ton county. Detboit, Nov. 4.-24 districts in Michigan, outside of the cities, give Blaine 2,854; Cleveland, 1,775; Butler, 1,342; St. John, 46L Alger, for gov ernor 2,439; Begole, (fusion(, 2,565; Preston, (prohibitionist), 449. Des Moine3, Nov. 4. Six voting precincts in Iowa show Republican gains. Returns come in very slow. New Yobk, Nov. 4. Indications are that Cleveland's majority in this city as far as heard from will not ex ceed 30,000. 343 districts out of 712, give Blaine 46,793: Cleveland 62,232: Butler 1,595: St John 499. Augusta, Nov. 4. Forty towns in Maine give Blaine 17,714, Cleveland 12,885: Butler 7,320, St John 532. Madison, Nov. 4. Thirty towuships in Wisconsin show a net Democratic gain of 667. New Yobk, Nov. 4. The Sun says Cleveland has carried the state by 30,000 to 40,000 majority. 319 dis tricts out of 1995 give Blaine 78,205: Cleveland 64. 674: Butler 2,193: St. John 4,048. If this vote continues, his gain in the state would give Blaine outside of the city and Brook lyn 50,000 majority, which would give Cleveland 50,000 majority in the state. 246 districts in Brooklyn give Cleveland 61,417: Blaine 46,838: But ler 1884: St John 1192. The Mail and Express says Cleveland's plural ity in the city will be almoit 40,000 .and in Brooklyn 20,000. If these fig ures are correct Cleveland will carry the state by 60,000. 750, p. sl The Tribune claims that the Republicans havo carried Virginia, and that Cleveland's major ity in New York City will not be over 30,000. New Yobk, Nov. 4. 10 r. m. It is now claimed that if the Republican majorities outside of New York City and Brooklyn come in the same ratio as hitherto reported, Blaine's majori ty will be 80,000. Pobtland, Or .Nov. 4. The Repub lican state central committee have dispatches from different parts of the state to the effect that Blaine's ma jority is 900. The Democratic state central committee concede the state by 600 majority. Baltimobi,Nov. 4. Maryland gives 10,000 .majority for Cleveland. New Yobk, Nov. 411 p. m. 527 districts outBide New York and Brooklyn, give Blaine a plurality of 22,676. This ratio if sustained would give him over 80,000 majority outside of this city and Brooklyn. Habtfobd, Nov. 4. 41 towns in Connecticut give Blaine 10.150: Cleve land 8,893. The Republicans elect 39 representatives; Democrats 14. New Yobk, Nov. 4. It says Blaine has carried Buffalo, N. Y.f by 1,100 The Sun says that Connecticut has gone Republican; Florida is Demo cratic by 3,500; Indiana is probably Republican and it now looks as if New York was very much in doubt. Texas gives from 60,000 to 70,000 majority. The entire Democratic congressional delegation is elected. Oakland, Alameda Co., Cal., is thought to have gone 2,500 against 5,000 in 1830. San Jose Cal., expects the city will give 200 Republican ma jority. There are 1340 wards and precincts in Michigan. In 1880 the Republican majority was 18,994. Should the fu sionists carry the state the electoral vote will stand 6 for Cleveland, 6 for Butler and 1 for Blaine. Alger has a majority over Blaine's electors in such case the odd vote would be counted for Cleveland. This is hard ly probable. Buffalo, N. Y., Nov. 4. The Re publicans have carried the city by 1,089. The Albany Evening Bulletin claims the state for Blaine if New York bulletins are correct. 615 districts outside New York and Brooklyn give Blaine 154,384, Cleve land 128,025, Butler 3,913, St John 7,917; a net Democratic gain of 5,682. The New Y6rk Herald estimates Cleveland's maiorifrv in Votr TaaV about 7,000. In Virginia 80 precincts show a Democratic gain of 11L This indi cates a close vote. If the ratio of the Democratic gain is not increased, the state may go Republican about 1,000. Milwaukee, Nov. 4. One hundred and fifty-three towns and precincts in Wisconsin including four wards in Milwaukee give a net Democratic gam oe u,m. Chicago, Nov. 4. Sixty-three pre cincts in Cook county. Illinois, ziva Blaine 18,680, Cleveland 18,659. New Yobk, Nov. 5, 2:30 a. m.
