Coal Uarbor, the Western Terminus of
tie C. P. R. R.
Tho terminus of the Canadian Pa
cific on the Pacific slope "will bo at
Coal Harbor, Burrard Inlet, and not
at Port Moody, where tho section of
the road being constructed by the
Dominion government ends. The ex
tension leaves tho C. P. between one
and two miles east of Pitt river,
crosses tho river between the present
bridge and the mouth, and runs in
an almost straight line to Deer lake,
west of the Hastings road and then
deflects to a point on tho inlet near
Coal harbor. . .
It passes bevond Sapperion, withm
less than two miles of New "Westmin
ster. The latter may be connected
with the main line by a spur. A new
bridge will be constructed across the
Pitt river, near its estuary. Port
Moody will not be abandoned, but
both lines will be used, ana it is e.eu
possible that tho whole inlet may be
required for railway purposes. The
r ...3 will Ia
quantity or siuuigs requiru mut
enormous should the company 0
abiliiv to carrv the Asiatic commerce
at less than other continental roads
frive it the boom it anticipates. At
Winnipeg the company has 21 miles
of side tracks and 800 acres of ground
for their works. At Fort William and
Port Arthur there will be five or six
miles of wharves. The Central Pa
cific, Manager Van Horn declares,
will be complete in sixteen months,
and he further believes that the ex
cellence of British Columbia timber
will command it a market as far east
as Winnipeg. On the completion of the
C. P. B. li., a line of powerful steamers
will be put on from tho terminus to the
orient, as well as coast steamers to
the various ports in the province of
British Columbia The Pacific ter
minal city will bo ono of the two larg
est on the Pacific coast, San Francis
co being the other. The journey from
Montreal or Toronto can be made in
one hundred hours. This will be an
enormous saving of time compared
the American routes. uuawa

PILES! PILES! PILES!
A SURE CURE FOUSI) AT LAST!
NO ONE NEED SUFFER.
A sure euro for Blind, Bleeding'
Itching and Ulcerated Piles has been
discovered by Dr. Williams (an Indi
an Bemedy,) called Dr. William's In
dian Pile Ointment A single box has
cured the worst chronic cases of 25
or 30 years standing. No ono need
suffer live minutes after applying this
wonderful soothing medicine. Lotions
instruments and electuaries do more
harm than good. William's Indian
Pile Ointment absorbs the tumors,
allays the intense itching, (particular
ly at night after getting warm in bed,)
acts as a poultice, gives instant relief,
and is prepared only for Piles, itching
of the private parts, and for nothing
else.
Bead what the Hon. J. M. Coffinber
ry of Cleveland says about Dr. Wil
liam's Indian Pilo Ointment: I have
used scores of Pile Cures, and it af
fords me pleasure to say that I havo
never found anything which gave
such immediate cind permanent relief
as Dr. William's Indian Ointment.
Hon. Judge W. P. Coons, Maysville,
Ky., says: "I have suffered for years
with itching piles, and have used
many remedies. I have used Dr. Wil
liam's Indian Pile Ointment and been
cured while every other remedy has
failed." For sale by all druggists and

BENSON'S CAPCINE POROUS PLASTER
has broken through tho barriers and won its
way to my good opinion. My attention was
first called to it some oight months ago by a

especially for tho profession, tho Benson's
was comparatively new to me. I had heard,
however, of its merits as a romedy, in cases
of Lnmo Back, Local Rheumatism, Neural

Many tests of its qualities, made in my own
