That's a common expres
sion and has a world of
meaning. How much suf
fering is summed up in it
The singular thing about
it-is, that pain in the back
is occasioned by so many
things. May be caused by
kidney disease, liver com
plaint, consumption, cold,
nervous debility, &a
Whate ver the cause, don't
neglect it Something is
wrong and needs prompt
attention. No medicine has
yet been discovered that
will so quickly and surely
cure such diseases as
Brown's Iron Bitters, and
it does this by commencing
at the foundation, and mak
ing the blood pure and rich.
Win. P. Marshall, of Logans
port, Indianawrites : "My wife
has for many years been trou
bled from pain in her back
and general debility incident
to her sex. She has taken one
bottle of Brown's Iron Bitters,
and I can truthfully say that
she has been so much benefited
that she pronounces it the
only remedy of many medi
cines she has tried."
Leading physicians and
clergymen use and recom
mend Brown's Iron Bit
ters. It has cured others
suffering as you arc, and it
will cure you.

SALICYLICA works with marvelous

Mr. F. "W. Fisk, money clerk at
the American Express office, Kan
sas City, Mo., was interviewed by
the reporter. Mr. Fisk said the
St. Jacobs Oil is known to about
erery express messenger and em
ployee of the company, and is used
by them for a Yariety of ills, such
as rheumatism, neuralgia, sprains,
etc. Mr. Fisk stated that he had
been using it a long1 time for
sprains and bruises, and always
found relief. Upon one occasion,
while getting off a train, he slipped
and hurt his knee very badly. The
hurt was so severe that it laid him
up. He applied St. Jacobs Oil
and was restored very soon. Mr.
Fisk says the Oil is the best thing
he knows for taking soreness out
of one's limbs" after violent exer
cise. When in college he used to
be a boating man. All the college
crews used St. Jacobs Oil for tho
above-mentioned purpose. It
seems to be understood generally
as the quickest and surest remedy
for all soreness of the flesh, and
pain arising from sprain or mus
cular contraction. He also recom
mends it to all sufferers of rheu
matism. Brace up the whole system with King
