"The Black Hand" is an organ ization of anarchists in Spain sim ilar to that of the old "Internation ale," that is waging war upon landed proprietors, particularly in Andalusia. Workmen in large numbers have been drawn into the society, whose chief object is an agrarian revolution. It has de clared war against landed proprie tors, and has commenced work by the commission of horrible out rages. One dispatch dated Mad rid, February 2Sth, says: "It is reported that tv.entv-one armed men, masked, and supposed to be members of a secret society, en tered a farm the day before yes terday, at Puerto Serrano, in Au dalusia.( They murdered the men, outraged the women and destroyed everything in the place." A later dispatch said: "It is reported that several plantations in Anda lusia have been partially destroj'ed. Some emissa of the anarchists have been arrested, and they are found to be furnished with fresh orders from the secret societies, which seem determined to make a vigorous resistance to the authori ties." Arrests are now numerous, and it is said documents of a high ly treasonable character have been discovered. The military force in Andalusia has been increased, but "The Black Hand" has not been suppresed. A few days ago a wagon and team were lost in Snake river, above Eagle Rock, 1. T. Snake river is unlike any other stream, unless it be the Colorado. A body carried off by the current is never seen or heard of afterwards. PLAIN TRUTHS The blood is the foundation of life, it circulates through every part of the body, and unless it is pure and rich, good health is impossible. If disease has entered the system the only sure and quick way to drive it out is to purify and enrich the blood. These simple facts are well known, and the highest medical authorities agree that nothing but iron will restore the blood to its natural condition; and also that all the iron preparations hitherto made blacken the teeth, cause head ache, and are otherwise injurious. Brown's Iron Bitters will thor oughly and quickly assimilate with the blood, purifying and strengthen ing it, and thus drive disease from any part of the system, and it will not blacken the teeth, cause head ache or constipation, and is posi tively not injurious. Saved his Child. J7 N. Euttw St., Baltimore, Md. Feb. is, zS8o. Cents: Upon the recommenda tion of a. friend I tried Bsowjt's Iiuw Bitters as a. tonic and re storative for ray daughter, whom I was thoroughly convinced was wasting away with Consumption. Having lost three daughters by the terrible disease, under the care cf eminent physicians, I was loth to believe that anything could arrest the progress cf the disease, but, tc rny great surprise, before my daugb ter had taken one bottle of Brown. Ikon Blums, she began to mend and now is quite restored to former health. A fifth daughter began to show signs of Consumption, and when the physician was consulted He quickly said ionics were re- &u suired;" and when informed that elder sister was taking Brown's Iron Bittees, responded "that is a rood tonic, talce it."
