Goad Advice.
Never use holy's name, in an
improper place, at an improper
time, or in tned company. Never
tnkc hii improper assertion about
h r lm you would think untrue,
or allubions to herself that she
would blush to hear. When you
meet v.ith men who do not scruple
to use a lady's name in a reckless
manner, shun them; for they are
the very worst in the community;
men lost to every sense of honor,
every feeling of humanity. Many
a good and worthy woman's char
acter has been forever ruined and
her heart broken by a lie, manu
factured by some villain, and re
peated where it should not have
been, and in the presence of those
whose judgment could not deter
thorn from circulating the foul
and bragging report. A slander
is soon propagated, and the small-
"est thing derogatory to a woman's
character will fly on the wings of
tho wind and magnify as it circu
lates, until its monstrous weight
crushes the poor, unconscous vic
tim. Respect the name of woman.
Your mother and sister are women,
and as vou would have their fair
name untarnished, their lives im
embitlered bv the slanderetV
tougue, heed the ill your own
words may bring upon the mother,
the sister, or the wife of some fel
low creature.
An Indiana woman gave a
patient & 100 worth of professional
nursing, put presented him with a
receipted bill on his promising to
marrv tier. Now that he has
broken the engagement, she sues
for the pay and $2,500 besides.
All pain leaves when St. Jacobs

SEEK
health and avoid sickness.
Instead of feeling tired and
worn out, instead of aches
ancL$ pains, wouldn't you
rather feel fresh and sL ng?
You can continue feeling
miserable and good for no
thing, and no one but your
self can find fault, but if you
are tired of that kind of life,
you can change it if you
choose.
How? By getting one
bottle of Brown Iron Bit
ters, and taking it regularly
according to directions.
Mansfield, Ohio, Nov. 36, iE3r.
Gentlemen : I have suffered with
pain in ay side and back, and peat
soreness oa my breast, with shoot-
ins pains all through my body, at
tended w ith great weakness, depres
sion 01 spirits, ana loss ot appe
tite. I ha e taken several different
medicines, and was treated by prom
inent physicians for my liver, kid
neys, and spleen, but I got no relief.
I thought I would try Brown's Iron
Bitters; I hax enow taken one bottle
and a half and am about well paia
in side and back all gone soreness
all out of my breast, and I have a
good appetite rxil am gaining in
strength and fleij. It can justly be
called Xhzkixgoftiiedicinex.
John K. Alltnuer.
Brown's Iron Bitters is
composed of Iron in soluble
form; Cinchona the great
tonic, together with other
standard remedies, making
a remarkable non-alcoholic
tonic, which will .cure Dys
