struck 'me of telling him that I
had been corresponding with an
American newspaper, and that I
should be glad if Arabi would tell
me something which I could com
municate to the American people,
who were the friends of all who
were oppressed, and who had
shown a great deal of sympathy
with the Egyptians during their

are actually making arrangements

cans will care to hear what my
views are, I shall be glad to use
your paper as my channel of com
