That there's nothing half so sweet
in life as love's young dream, was ex

hotels, wherein two couples from Coos
May were united for life, and stern
parents set at defiance. These things
come high, but people will have 'em.
The ladies fair which begins at

the occasion and the cause for which
the fair is held justifies the request
of the managers that a genorous at

the
reputation of Columbia .salmon in
general, we do not believe. It. does
seem at first sight that the receipt of
inferior fish from the Columbia liver
would directly hurt all the cannery
men; but importers are pretty well
posted, and any .shipper who sends
good fish and good fish only, would
not be materially injured by the selfish
and short sighted action of his neigh
bor who might want to noiigo ihe
eyes out of the huHinoss.
