The wreck of the St. Louis Mu
tual Life Association is ona of the
most complete disasters in all the
disastrous history of life insurance
speculation. Its assets arc less
than 10,000, all in litigation, and
of doubtful colloi'tioti, while the
policy claims allowed by the ref
eree amount to over a million.
