To-day we give the final article upon the subject, "Did Dr. "Whitman Save Oregon?" remarking that it will be the last, as we can not devote so much spaco to such matters in future. The steamship Geo. W. Elder will sail from San Francisco for Astoria and Portland on Saturday, with freight only, for the purpose of relieving the embargo accumulating at San Francisco.
