Dr. Glass of Portland, and U man named Mealy, of Albany, have been arrested on charge of producing the death of a Miss Mary Hardman, of Linn County, by malpractice, about one month ago. The Domestic Sewing Machine took 'the first premium at the State Fair also, four blue ribbons for work. ' It also took 'the blue ribbon at two of the county fairs. I. W.
