Annually, an individu- al, group or organization who especially exempli- fies work on watershed health and involving hu- man and natural resourc- es within our region is chosen by the Siuslaw Watershed Council Board of Directors for this award. This award will be presented at the council’s July 2021 public General Meeting via Zoom. The community is in- vited to submit nomina- tions by emailing water- shed@siuslaw.org by June 30, 2021. There will be BINGO games beginning June 10 at 10 a.m. Masking and social dis- tancing will remain in effect until further guidance from Oregon Health Authority is received. In addition, rental spaces are available evenings and weekends. As conditions improve, the center will re- start its lunch program. Instructor brings ‘Art of Play’ to classes at FRAA The Florence Regional Arts Alliance (FRAA) will host Lynn Underwood, who will be teaching “The Art of Play.” The class will be on each first and third Monday of the month from 1 to 3 p.m. The first two classes are June 7 and June 21. In this mixed media workshop, participants will explore acrylic paints, stamps, collage, various media and more. All skill levels are wel- come, and each class will explore a different creative process. The community is invited to join the fun!
