The boutique will be open again Thursday through Saturday, Dec. 3 to 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The boutique offers an as- sortment of clothing, acces- sories, shoes, home décor and furniture. According to Florence Habitat Executive Director Janell Morgan, the nonprof- it has garnered a collection of business attire through its estate clean-out service. “We hoped to partner with another nonprofit in town to help women entering or returning to the work force or those who cannot afford business attire. Unfortu- nately, the partnership did not work out and the rack of clothes sat in our backroom,” she said. But 2020 has been a year of innovation, especially when it came to a woman named Ada. “When we did a clean out for Ada’s estate, she had clos- ets full of some very cute clothes, purses, accessories and shoes,” Morgan said. “Did she ever have shoes! A new idea was born.” Thus came the Ada and Her Shoes Pop-Up Boutique, which opened Thanksgiving weekend. “I really felt we could raise some money for Habitat, provide high quality clothing to the community and have some fun doing it.
