FRAA highlights Kya Hobin this month
Florence Regional Arts
Alliance (FRAA) is pleased
to highlight the artwork of
Kya Hobin on FRAA’s Youth
Wall during the months of
October and November.
Hobin is a 17-year-old
attending Oregon Char-
ter Academy. Her art style
is usually cartoon charac-
ters, but with paintings she
leans more towards realistic
scenes.
“My art medium is usu-
ally pencils, paper and my
phone,” she said. “I also
use paints, canvases, paint-
brushes, and sometimes
glitter for my paintings.”
Hobin describes her
hobbies as “drawing, paint-
ing, crafting, cosplaying
and hanging out with my
friends.”
She has participated in
one previous art event titled
“Let’s Rock!!”, a Community
Challenge Show at Back-
street Gallery.
FRAA encourages the
public to come and view this
creative artist’s work dis-
played on the Youth Wall of
FRAA’s Art Center and Gal-
lery, 120 Maple St. in Histor-
ic Old Town Florence.
Kya Hobin is showing her work at Florence Regional
Arts Alliance through November.
