Since 2001, the Cultural Trust has sup- ported culture statewide through nonprofit cultural organizations, county and tribal coalitions and state- wide partners. PLAN from page 6A can once we finish the dis- tance learning,” Trent said. “The kids need to be out- side, and that gives us more flexibility.” The remainder of Mon- day’s town hall consisted of a variety of questions from district families, including whether or not the weight room at the high school will be open. “Not at this time, as we can’t have students on cam- pus,” said High School Prin- cipal Garth Gerot. The resumption of sports in general was brought up, but after new Oregon State Athletics Association reg- ulations, the district didn’t foresee any sports until De- cember at the earliest. Regarding whether or not students will be required to attend school if it is al- lowed to move to a hybrid model, Harklerode stated that students can remain in distance learning if they wished, and the level of instruction would remain consistent. In addition, Special Pro- grams Director Lisa Utz stated that case managers are coming back this week and are preparing to set up meetings as needed for stu- dents with 504s and indi- vidual learning plans. Meet- ings will be prioritized, with students facing immediate needs scheduled first, such as a student who has anxi- ety with online learning. “If your student has ac- commodations that are met by distance learning, meetings may not be be- fore school starts, but it might be sometime over the school year,” she said. This led Harklerode to comment on the flexibili- ty that all students — and families — may need. “As a general statement, please know we’ve been rethinking everything we do,” he said. “If we speak in terms of great certainty, please know we also stand very ready to be flexible and do what’s best for kids and for each kid.” Read more about Siuslaw School District’s reopening plans online at siuslaw.k12. or.us. The director also pointed out that the Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Lane County has received little financial help during the pandemic from the govern- ment. “Nothing has come to us from CARES or any of the other programs,” Trent said. “We’re operating on fumes right now.” With that said, the club will still be offering pro- grams below the cost of running them. Details on the club’s fall plans will be made available shortly, and registration is expected to begin on Aug. 24. To prepare for the fall, Trent asked all parents to get children used to face coverings, which will be re- quired per state regulation. The one exception to that is outside, where they do not have to wear a covering if six feet of distance is main- tained. “We’re going to spend as much time outside as we RADIO AUCTIOn ƒ5i5]w>><—]cw——:TcF—Cci—5t—Tc]F—5t—‹cƒ—cˆ]—‹cƒi—Hc[>—cj—ˆ>—ˆMTT—:R>5]—‹cƒj—Fƒww>it—Cci—Ci>>—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p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on KCST 106.9 FM & KCFM 104.1 FM AS CO T GET YOUR BID NUMBER EARLY CALL 541-997-9136 KCST 106.9 FM There is no OBLIGATION to bid KCFM 104.1 FM AUCTION LIST FOR FRIDAY, AUGUST 21st - STARTING AT 9:15 AM 91 Leisure Excavating $200.00 92 Goodman’s Flooring $435.00 93 Pest Tech $250.00 94 Domino’s $100.00 95 Coastal Home Services $400.00 96 97 98 99 100 Ron’s Paint and Supply St. Vincent de Paul’s Phil’s Saw Shop Sand Ranch Pro Lumber Inc. $100.00 $100.00 $130.00 $125.00 $120.00 101 Florence Habitat Restore 102 America’s Mattress 103 Laurel Bay Gardens Nursery 104 Florence Shipping Solutions 105 Anahi’s Beauty and Spa $125.00 $150.00 $300.00 $125.00 106 Florence In Bloom $180.00 107 Rodger Bennett Legacy Portraiture $140.00 108 Seven Feathers Casino Resort $250.00 109 Pest Tech 110 Florence Grocery Outlet 111 Krab Kettle $250.00 $140.00 $100.00 112 Alan Twombly H&R Block $200.00 113 Reedsport Pharmacy $100.00 $50.00 Gift Certifi cate - can be used towards rock, bark, landscape materials. 12x10 Bound Area Rug – bound cream colored with waffl e loop pattern.
