Is the library open?
The Siuslaw Public Li-
brary is open for phone calls,
emails, item return, and
curbside pickup of requested
items at the Florence branch.
At this time, the library
is not open to the public.
Can I return items?
The library accepting the
return of library materials in
the west/Maple St parking
lot of the Florence location
Monday through Thursday
from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and
on Fridays from 11 a.m. to 6
p.m. We are using large bins
that will allow us to quaran-
tine items for 72 hours for
the safety of patrons and
staff.
What if I want to check
out an item, but I don’t
know what I want?
Give the library a call
from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on
Monday through Friday
and let us know what kind
of books or DVDs you en-
joy. Staff would love to pull a
few titles just for you!
Can I email my requests
for curbside pickup?
Right now, staff are lim-
iting requests for new items
to phone calls. We need
to make sure we a work-
able system and that staff
can keep up with demand
before expanding to other
request types. The library
thanks you for your pa-
tience! The exception to this
system is that people are still
able to place holds through
the online catalog for items
that are checked out to an-
other patron.
Can I access the internet?
Although the public in-
ternet computers are not
currently available for use,
the library does have wire-
less internet access available
