‘Mary Poppins’ cast ‘steps in time’ to Heceta Lightkeeper’s House
Th is April, CROW’s produc-
tion of “Mary Poppins” will take
the stage at the Florence Events
Center in April with a stellar cast
of outstanding young Florence-
area actors.
Th e cast will feature Alizabeth
Norton (Mary Poppins), Cort
Waggoner (Bert), Owen Har-
klerode (George Banks), and
Haylee Cole (Winifred Banks),
with Harper Young in the role
of “Jane Banks” and Ander-
sen Haines portraying “Michael
Banks.”
Th e leading cast members vis-
ited the Heceta Head Lighthouse
and Historic Lightkeeper’s House
to take this year’s publicity pho-
tos, choosing one of the Oregon
coast’s most iconic sites. Th e

the Edwardian
feel of the “Mary
Poppins” play,
which is set in
the fi rst decade
of 1900.

Many additional volunteers are
already hard at work behind the
scenes in order to provide an out-
standing ninth youth mainstage
production for CROW.
Th e musical will be performed
April 17-26 at the Florence
Events Center. Performances will
be Fridays and Saturdays at 7
p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. Adult
tickets to “Mary Poppins” are $20
each, and tickets for youth under
age 12 are $10 each. Active and
Retired Military (with ID) and
Seniors may purchase tickets at
the box offi ce window for $19.
All proceeds from this produc-
tion support ongoing youth arts
education.
