FUUF learns to ‘let it go’
On Sunday, Feb. 16, at
10 a.m. at the Florence
Unitarian Universalist Fel-
lowship, Dr. Dean Shrock
will share a message titled:
“The Power of Letting Go.”
Society has learned any
number of strategies and
techniques for improving
health and happiness.
However, Shrock pro-
poses there is wisdom and
benefit in a more mindful
approach, such as “loving
what is.”
He said, “There is an as-
pect of us that knows ex-
actly what we need to do to
heal and grow. It’s time to
learn to trust it and let go.”
The fellowship is locat-
ed at 87738 Highway 101
at Heceta Beach Road and
is wheelchair accessible.
Each service concludes
with refreshments and a
dialogue circle to explore
the questions that come up
during each worship ser-
vice.
FUUF welcomes all rac-
es, creeds and gender ori-
entations; come as you are,
discover what you can be.
