TITUS—On the morn-
ing of Wednesday, Oct.
30, 2019, the fun, loving
and compassionate Dianna
May Titus, 77, of Redmond,
Ore., for-
m e r l y
of Swis-
shome,
passed
away.
Dianna
was born
in
San
Dianna
Francis-
Titus
co, Calif.,
on Jan. 6,
1942, to Donald and Mar-
guerite Stanton.
As a young woman, she
married Arthur Hunt and
started her family in Swiss-
home, Ore. Her early adult
life was spent working at
Mapleton School District
in Mapleton, Ore., where
she raised her kids and met
her soulmate, Lyle Titus.
Dianna’s late adult life
was spent exploring the
United States while truck-
ing with Lyle before be-
coming a truck dispatcher
for many years. In recent
years, she enjoyed fulfilling
work at Best Care Rehabili-
tation in Redmond helping
patients better their lives.
Dianna always loved
spending time with her
children,
grandchildren
and great-grandchildren.
She also enjoyed watch-
ing sports, especially golf,
and was a frequent atten-
dant at her grandchildren’s
extra curricular activities.
She was an extremely
loved and happy woman
that lived a full life until
her death.
Dianna was preceded in
death by her husband, Lyle
Titus; her parents, Don-
ald and Marguerite Stan-
ton; as well as her broth-
ers: Pete and Bob Stanton;
her grandson, Ryan Hunt;
and her stepson, Andrew
Hodges.
She leaves behind: her
sister, Sharon (Gordon)
Doggett; daughter Deb-
orah (Steve) Mace; and
grandchildren:
Joshua/
Dawn Hole, Jessica Hole
and Andrew Mace; her
son Randy (Kaye) Hunt;
grandsons Kristopher and
Kyle Hunt; her son Michael
(Angela) Hunt; her grand-
children: James Hunt,
Nicolas Hunt, Dylan Hunt,
Teagan (Eric) Calhoon;
and great-grandchildren:
Kaden, Jaden and Jaxen;
and her step-children:
Kenneth Hodges, Bren-
da McGee; step-grand-
daughters: April Malone
and Stephanie Dennison
and Kellyne Hammontree;
step-grandsons: Kyle and
Kenneth Hammontree; as
well as her foster son Les
Schofield and grandchil-
dren Thomas, Amanda,
Melissa and Alyssa.
A celebration of her life
will be held in Dianna’s
honor next summer in
Redmond, Ore.

Robert
was born
June 14,
1938, in

to Calvin
Elsworth Robert Barr
Barr and
Maurine Goddard Barr.
He graduated from Cen-
tral Kitsap High School
in 1956 then attended ju-
nior college. He worked
as a shipfitter at the Puget
Sound Naval Shipyard un-
til he retired and moved to
Florence, Ore.

The City of Florence is
seeking volunteer appli-
cants for the Florence Plan-
ning Commission.
The commission reviews
and makes recommenda-
tions on the Comprehen-
sive Plan, subdivision and
zoning ordinances and oth-
er planning rules and regu-
lations.
The Planning Commis-
sion also serves as the De-
sign Review Board acting
to determine whether pro-
posed developments up-
hold the zoning and sub-
division ordinances of the
City of Florence.
The Planning Commis-
sion consists of seven mem-
bers, of which five must live
inside city limits and two
may live within the Urban
Growth Boundary.
Planning Commission
meetings are held on the
second and fourth Tuesday
of every month at 5:30 p.m.
Persons interested in po-
sitions should expect to at-
tend all Planning Commis-
sion meetings and devote
time for study of issues pri-
or to meeting attendance.
Volunteer time is vital in
working towards solutions
to local government issues.
Anyone interested in
serving their city and get-
ting involved is encouraged
to apply for the Planning
Commission.
The deadline for applica-
tions is Dec. 31.

sailboats. He also enjoyed
traveling to tropical places,
fishing, geology and trains.
Robert married Eleanor
Louise Swanson in 1963.
He is survived by his
wife, Eleanor; his son Scott;
his daughters: Malinda Re-
inke and Katrina Martin;
and several grandchildren
and great grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed
by his family and friends.
A celebration of life ser-
vice will be held Dec. 20, at
1 p.m. at The Presbyterian
Church of Siuslaw.
