tournament raised more
than $11,000 for those
facing some form of cri-

in its ninth year, features
a hole-in-one contest for
a 2019 Ford F-150 truck,

tors Company, a chance
to putt for $5,000, and
many team and individu-
al contest prizes.

hile competing at the 89th annual Bob Norquist Oregon Junior Amateur tournament last
month, Florence resident Ryan Klampe came home with a second-place trophy from the first
flight bracket of the 12-13 year old division. There were 22 golfers in Klampe’s group, which played
over the course of five days — including one round of stroke play followed by four days of match
play. Only six golfers made it to the finals on day five, where Klampe nabbed second place overall.
