This community event, a celebration of our nation’s independence, will have a bar- becue, live band and kid-and-family-friendly activities. Siltcoos Lake is a great place for viewing fireworks because of its wide-open expanse. However, there is limited lake access so audi- ences should find ways to access the viewing area. Parking at Darlings will be limited to overnight guests, but the community is invit- ed to bring chairs and walk in. After noon on Saturday, the docks will be closed so boats should be launched from the Lane County Boat Ramp in Westlake. Volun- teers will be on the lake who will ensure that boaters stay at a safe distance. Sponsors of the event include Zolezzi In- surance, Torex ATV Rentals, Wacoka Farm and Rick’s Quality Import Service. Parking is limited to guests of Darlings, but the public is welcome to walk-in, bring a chair, and enjoy the show from our park. For questions contact, Lori Olson at Dar- lings Marina at 541-997-2841 or by email at info@darlingsresortrv.com.
