Lane Community College Foundation and LCC Florence
celebrate their 14th Annual Scholarship Night
For the 2019/20 academic year, the Lane Community College
Foundation and LCC Florence Center presented 13 scholarships
— totaling $26,275 — to current and anticipated LCC stu-
dents residing in western Lane County. Many of the scholarships
were a result of generous contributions from the Florence com-
munity, both private and commercial. Award presentations were
held at the Florence Events Center on June 11th. In addition
to the recipients’ family and friends, LCC President, Margaret

Foundation Director, Wendy Jett, and many prominent commu-
nity members and contributors were in attendance. Congratulations to our stu-
dents and many thanks to the Florence community for their continued support!

The following awardees were not able to attend our Scholarship Night event:
Khianah Aguilar was awarded the Mehlum Scholarship and the Brauer
Scholarship for Health Occupations. Seth Morton was awarded the Central
Oregon Coast Board of Realtors Scholarship. Special thanks to Nancy Pruitt
for her photography services for this event and to everyone else who
helped make this a great night!
