PRICE—Sharon Melin-
da Price (Severy-Riggs),
68, passed away April 17,
2019, of cancer.
She was born Feb. 27,
1951, in North Bend, Ore.,
to Elsie and Drew Severy
(Father Edmond Riggs)
She graduated from
Siuslaw High School in
1969.
Sharry was preceded
in death by her partner,
Charles (Bud) Barron.
She is

nior Center, 1570 King-
wood St. in Florence.
HARDWICK—Marga-
ret Elizabeth Hardwick,
85, passed away May 8,
2019, at 12:45 a.m., of pan-
creatic cancer.
She was born in Sanger,
Calif., and grew up in
Fresno, Calif., where she
attended San Joaquin Me-
morial High School.
Marge is survived by her
husband,

wick Sr.;
her son,
Mark Po-
vio of San
Antonio,
Texas; her
Margaret
daugh-
Hardwick
ter, Mar-
ci Delurio of Campbell,
Calif.; and her son, Mitch
Povio of Aurora, Colo; her
stepson, Kenneth Hard-
wick of Scots Valley, Calif.;
stepson Rick Hardwick
Jr. of Wheatridge, Colo.;
and stepdaughter Lou-
ise Floyd of Sun Prairie,
Wisc.; 22 grandkids and 7
great-grandkids.
Marge enjoyed enter-
taining, golfing, fishing,
backpacking, hiking and
hunting for agates at the
beach and bowling. A
few years ago while in her
late 70s, she bowled in five
leagues.
Marge will be dearly
missed by all; she was a
wonderful and gracious
woman. Life will not be
the same without her.
Burns’s Riverside Chap-
el is in charge of all ar-
rangements.
JOHNSEN—David W.
Johnsen, 90, of Florence,
passed away May 8, 2019.
At his request, interment
will be held at Pacific Sun-
set Cemetery.

Paper intended to hold liquid or food contains either a chemical additive or
plastic layer—both not recyclable. Plastics can't be properly sorted by sorting equipment & must be put it in the trash.
Clear containers for deli, produce, bakery and other products

Frozen pizza boxes, microwave dinners, ice cream cartons & more.
