Signs of Spring
fill the FEC March
1 to 3 with Home
& Garden Show
L
ooking for signs of Spring? Head to the Florence
Events Center for the annual Florence Home &
Garden Show. The show is open March 1 to 3, Friday
from 2 to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and
Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The annual Home & Garden Show features prod-
ucts and services from more than 40 different ven-
dors as well as free giveaways, drawings, samples and
demonstrations.
“We’re packed from wall to wall with a wide variety
of vendors,” said Show Director Jon Thompson. “It’s a
good mix of local and out-of-area merchants and new
and returning favorites.”
Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children 12
and under. Plus, admission is free from 4-6 p.m. on
Saturday.
Laurel Bay’s Garden Party is the show’s centerpiece
design and “Outdoor Living with Style” is the theme,
featuring Vegepods, container gardens and do-It-
yourself mini garden workshops. People can plant ter-
rariums, cactus, fairy gardens or create their own look
at these workshops.
Laurel Bay Gardens will also showcase the newest
trends in outdoor living, including modular outdoor
screens, paver patios, self-contained fountains, pottery
and garden art. Vegepods are back and allow you to
grow your own veggies and herbs outside anywhere!
The Florence Home & Garden Show is sponsored
by Three Rivers Casino Resort, Bi-Mart and Central
Lincoln PUD. It is presented by Coast Radio and the
Siuslaw News.
