Siuslaw was able to cut
the Lions’ lead to as few as
five points in the second
period and were poised to
make a run, but poor free
throw shooting kept the
Vikings from generating the
offensive spark they need-
ed; Siuslaw went 5-for-20 in
the first half and 13-of-38
overall from the foul line.
The Lions came out
strong in the second half,
moving ahead by 18 points
to start the final period and
then went on a 22-2 run to
win it, 64-31.
Last night, Siuslaw host-
ed Marist (after press dead-
lines) and will be on the
road Friday to face
Marshfield.
