Head Start of Lane County is now
enrolling for preschool classes in Florence
at 2325 Oak Street. Class room hours are
Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am - 12 pm and
12 pm to 3:30 pm. Nutritious meals are
available.

Bright Beginnings is a nonprofi t
Christian preschool founded in 2008. It
upholds the philosophy that early child-
hood is a time of warmth, security, explo-
ration and kindergarten readiness. Bright
Beginnings promotes the importance of
learning social skills, team work, emo-
tional awareness, kindness and respect for
others. We offer a developmentally appro-
priate curriculum aimed at preparing each
student for success in kindergarten.
The Bright Beginnings daily schedule
includes: circle time, free play, language,
story time, art, music geography, math,
science, reading readiness, P.E., bible sto-
ries and lessons, computer time, multi-cul-
tural learning and sensory play.
Parents can choose from full or half-
day sessions in two, three or fi ve day
classes a week. We offer a 7:30 to 5:30
day to help accommodate working parents.
We have a few openings still available.
Our Open House is on September 6th,
from 6 to 7:30 pm. Classes begin Monday,
