Over the weekend, members of the Siuslaw Youth Soccer Association (SYSA) along with more than 20 other teams
from around the region competed at the first-ever Copa Cabana Beach Soccer Tournament on the sands in front of
Driftwood Shores Resort, with players ranging in age from 12U through adults. Teams competed simultaneously
on three back-to-back beach soccer fields. In addition to watching multiple matches both Saturday and Sunday,
spectators also had the chance to enjoy pulled pork sandwiches, a beer garden and music both days of the event.
