Paper craft and scrapping
class comes to Florence
For all who love to be cre-
ative, there’s a new monthly
paper craft and scrap group
starting up. Card making,
scrapping, journaling, gift
boxes, albums and more will
be covered on Friday, April 6,
from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the
Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter Day Saints, located at
2705 Munsel Lake Road.
Participants are encouraged
to bring a project they are

The U.S. Coast Guard reminds boaters
that there is still time to participate in a sur-
vey related to a study of aids to navigation
in U.S. Pacific waters including the
Oregon and Washington coasts.
The survey is open to all categories of
mariners including commercial, passenger,
recreational sail and power boaters.
Survey topics include international
requirements, environmental concerns,
user capabilities, available technology and
available resources.
Those interested can participate in the
study by completing the survey at

Bring a project or participate in an

electricity is available.
No fees unless there is a special project.

At the March 19 Florence
City Council meeting, the city
council adopted updated city
council rules and procedures.
These updates included amend-
ments to the public comment
process for council meetings.
