Peace Harbor announces
addition of orthopedic MD
Michael
Thomas,
MD, has joined the ortho-
pedic department at
PeaceHealth
Peace
Harbor Medical Center.
Thomas earned his
medical
degree
at
University of Health
Sciences/Chicago
Medical School in Illinois
and completed an intern-
ship at Swedish Medical
Center in Seattle and his
residency in orthopedics
at the University of British
Columbia in Vancouver.
Most recently, he
served as chief of orthope-
dics and staff surgeon at
Skagit Valley Hospital in
Mount Vernon, Wash.
A
Northwest
native,
Thomas has worked in hospi-
tals, multispecialty clinics and
solo practice. His areas of spe-
cial interest include arthritis,
hip and knee reconstruction,
arthroscopic surgery, trauma-
