P e r r y loved motor- cycles, guns, camping and being with his family and friends. BYERS—While surrounded by her family, Margaret Louise (Forester) Byers went to be with her beloved Savior in the early morn- ing hours of March 17, 2018. Peggy, as she was known by most, was born Aug. 14, 1940, to Margaret Thomas and Byers D o r r i s Forester in Independence, Mo. In 1953, her family moved to the West Coast, where she graduated from high school and started a family in Bellflower, Calif. “Grandma By The Ocean” settled in Florence Oregon where she worked and retired from Peace Harbor Hospital as an executive assistant to the medical administrator. She had many cherished friends in her home town, and away, who became her extend- ed family. She attended church, taught Little Angels Sunday school, quilted, enjoyed her garden and loved listening to her Christian music. Her most valued treasures were her family. She is survived in death by her siblings: Karen Sue Odom and Thomas Charles Forester; her children: Cheryl (Lindy) Campbell, Vicky Sue Shaw, and Jamie Elizabeth Ruggiero; her grandchildren: Phillip Thomas Furgason, Megan Lynette Miller, Katlyn Marie Reeves, Cameron Scott Campbell, Reagan Marie Ruggiero and Carson Jude Ruggiero; her great-grandchil- dren: Palyn Kate Miller, Lilllyana Sue Furgason and Henley Marie Reeves; in addi- tion, and far too many to men- tion, nephews, nieces and her cousins. A celebration of her life will be on Sunday, March 25, at Cross Roads Assemply of God, 1380 10th St. in Florence, beginning at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Peace Harbor Hospital Foundation. Mom, grandma and great- grandma is loved and will be missed.
