ackstreet Gallery, in partnership with the
Florence Events Center (FEC), is off ering an
exciting exhibit from community artists, con-
tinuing during the month of December. Th is
exhibit is titled “Where Art Th ou?,” and will
be judged by national award-winning artist,
Cat Deuter. Ribbons were awarded at the
November 5th reception for fi rst, second, and
third place, as well as for honorable mention.
In addition, the BEST IN SHOW and PEO-
PLE’S CHOICE award winners will receive
a one month featured exhibit at Backstreet
Gallery.
An artist reception, with Backstreet Gallery
off ering entertainment and refreshments
will be off ered to all visitors. Guitarist Den-
ny Weaver will entertain visitors while they
enjoy the art, wine, and appetizers. Th is will
also be a great opportunity to network with
other artists.
Th e December reception will have a holiday
theme and be held on December 15, from
5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Th is is Backstreet Galleries
gift to the community, providing a wonderful
opportunity for families to share the holiday
spirit. Th ere will be Christmas music provid-
ed by CROW, appetizers, and desserts, and in
addition to artwork, there will also be prints
and cards available to purchase for that last
minute Christmas shopping,

H oliday Arts Festival 2017 is the perfect
place to shop for unique gift s for the coming
Holiday Season!
Th is show is presented by Florence Re-
gional Arts Alliance (FRAA). It opens
Friday, Dec 1st, from 1 pm – 7 pm for your
aft ernoon/evening shopping and again Sat-
urday, Dec 2nd, from 10 am – 4 pm at the
Florence Events Center.
Meet the craft smen and artisans, both
local and regional, showing off their latest
creative designs and unique works of art
in wood, glass works of all kinds, knit &
crochet items, fi ber and fabric creations,
pottery, paintings, beadwork, wirework and
more
Holiday Arts Festival starts off a special
