T he fourth annual Florence Festival of Trees, a benefi t for

Th e public is invited to “Walk Th rough a Winter Won-
derland” on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to view and
purchase over 100 festively decorated holiday trees and
wreaths sponsored by local businesses and designers. Th ere
is no admission charge.
Sunday’s signature event includes a catered formal din-
ner and oral auction, featuring the father/daughter duo of
Bob Sneddon and Kady Sneddon as auctioneers, where a
collection of specially designed and decorated trees will be
off ered to the highest bidder. Preview starts at 4 p.m., with
the dinner and auction beginning at 5 p.m.
Tickets are $40 each and available for purchase at the gift
shop at the Oregon Coast Military Museum, located at 2145
Kingwood. Gift shop hours are Th ursday through Saturday,
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased at Beach

have everyone toe-tapping and jazzing it up at the
Florence Events Center with a pre-concert talk at
6:15 and show time at 7 p.m.
Black Market Trust is a fi ve member jazz group
consisting of lead guitarist Jeff rey Radaich, rhythm
guitarist Chris Irwin and bassist Brian Netzley
along with vocalists Brandon Laws and Nick Cov-
entry. Th eir sound is characterized by a combi-
nation of new school pop , old world classics and
contemporary American Gypsy jazz.
“Th e Black Market Trust makes jazz for every-
one, jazz lovers as well as those who are new to
jazz, even those who think they hate jazz!” said
Karen Smales, Vice President of Seacoast and
Program Chair. “One of our goals at Seacoast is to
introduce our audiences to new genres of music,
while satisfying the cravings for favorites. Black
Market Trust fi ts the bill. We know it will be an
exciting night for everyone.”
Th e rapport Th e Black Market Trust has built
from their many live performances together is
evident and live performances are a hallmark of
the group as they continue to tour as much as
possible.
Since the 2012 release of their all instrumental
debut album “Th e Black Market Trust,” a mile-
stone in the genre of gypsy jazz, the band has gone
on to record two more albums, maintain a busy
touring schedule, and have their music featured on
TV shows like the ABC television series “Happy
Endings” and the Hulu original program “Casual.”
Th eir sophomore album “II” featured a Top Ten
hit on the Adult Contemporary charts, a signature
version of “Route 66.”
