‘Rip City’ Rally rolls into Florence

Members of the Portland Trail Blazers media team made a stop in Florence on Tuesday, Sept. 12. The visit began at a school assembly in the Siuslaw
Elementary School gymnasium and continued with a free merchandise give-away at the Port of Siuslaw Parking lot. Hundreds of stuents and par-
ents recieved Blazer T-shirts, team water bottles and other Blazer merchandise at the event. The Blazers 1977 NBA Championship Trophy was also
on display.
