he Ladies of the Florence Elks “Touch of Home Committee” recently sent 12 boxes of cookies and request-
ed items to Nick and his military unit, who are deployed in the Middle East. The boxes arrived within a week
and the service men and women appreciated their special “touch of home.” The servicemen requested head-
lamps and tried them on while enjoying the cookies. The Ladies of Elks sent the items as a thank you for their
service to our country.
