Broncos rolling in for Northwest ‘roundup’

Ford Broncos from 1966-77 are “rounding up” in Florence beginning today and continuing through Sunday to cruise in the dunes.
The Northwest Bronco
Roundup 2017 is returning to
Florence beginning today.
This annual event features
the 1966-77 Ford Bronco Show
and Shine at Three Rivers
Casino Resort on Saturday,
Aug. 19, a cruise through
Historic Old Town Florence
and adventures in the Oregon
dunes.
Bronco participants also
plan a yearly canned food
donation to Florence Food
Share.
Broncos will ride the dunes
each morning of the roundup,
including a special evening
beach cruise sponsored by

Broncos will cruise Old Town,
beginning at 5 p.m. This event
can be loud, but participants
work hard to remain respectful
of Old Town merchants,
tourists and residents.
The big event is the Show
and Shine at Three Rivers, from
10 a.m. to noon. All the partici-
pating Broncos will be on dis-
play. There will also be a raffle.
Craig’s BBQ Food Truck
will have a booth at the event
for people to purchase lunch.
