On July 10, Leo and Shirley Stapleton and their grandsons delivered 321 dozen cookies to veterans at the
Roseburg VA Hospital. In addition, the Ladies of Elks donated $500, which allowed Leo to purchase additional
clothing at Bi-Mart to give to the hospital’s veterans. “They really look forward to the cookies and are deeply
appreciative of all that is done for them,” said Leo. “We in turn thank them for their service to our country.”
