The Florence Senior Center,
1570 Kingwood St., will host
its annual garage sale event
Saturday, July 29, from 8 a.m.
to 4 p.m.
Both indoor and outdoor
booths are available, with a
price of $20 for inside booths
and $15 for outside booths.
To secure a booth, come to
the center to sign up.
Coffee and lunch will be
available all day during the
event.
To donate items for the
garage sale, bring them by on
Friday, July 28, or call the cen-
ter to arrange for pickup.
Clothes may not be donated.

Woahink
Lake
Association welcomes anyone
interested in the Woahink
Watershed to its annual meet-
ing on Sunday, July 23, at 1
p.m., in the West Woahink
Group Meeting Hall (Yurt) on
Canary Road.
Residents, seasonal visitors
and others interested in issues
related to the area are invited to
join members for this annual
free event. Honeyman State
Park Interpretive Ranger Paul
Reilly will be the featured
speaker at the meeting.
Members of the association
will bring a dessert or favorite
snack to share. The association
will provide a barbecue lunch.
Persons interested in joining
the Woahink Lake Association
will have the opportunity to
enroll at the meeting. Members
are invited to renew at this time
of year. Annual dues are a nom-
inal $20.
