New Siuslaw Jam Festival to play this weekend
Three years ago, Florence
resident and City Councilor
Joshua Greene was introduced
to the Siletz Bay Music Festival
— a small celebration of music
and education held each year in
Lincoln City.
“Each time I attended, I
came away impressed with the
passion and spirit on display
with each performance,” said
Greene. “My relationship with
the festival grew and I thought
about how fantastic it would be
to bring some of these world-
class musicians to the Florence
Events Center (FEC).”

Hi there, my name is Milo! I
am almost 2 years old now, and
I came into the shelter here in
Florence in September of 2016. I
am a very active young guy who
very much enjoys lots of run and
play like any dog. I can be rowdy
sometimes when playing, and
need to be reminded sometimes
to use my manners, and that I am
a good boy. Also, you should know, I have been on a special diet. I will
require special food for my diet, so if you are thinking of adopting me,
please ask the shelter staff about my food... If you are interested in my
adoption, please come to see me here at the Oregon Coast Humane
Society.
If you would like to meet Milo or any of his
friends, please visit us at:
