Games began Friday as Siuslaw opened with a win against Adrian High School. The Viking eventually went 5-2 in the tournament. “Our guys worked hard and gave it their all when they stepped onto the court in every game this weekend,” Perry said. “It’s exciting to watch our guys play the game and compete against some of the best teams in the state.” The format of two 15-minute halves played with a running clock kept the tournament run- ning swiftly as teams faced off every 45 min- utes. Three officials were on the floor for each game, and foul shots were limited to a single attempt from the charity line. And if a player was fouled but scored on the shot, no foul shot was issued.
