tured artist for June in the
lobby area of Oregon Pacific
Bank in Florence.
“I’ve arrived at a place in
my creative journey that I
love to share. It’s sponta-
neous, serendipitous and
extremely gratifying,” said
Connelley. “I begin each
piece with observation and
planning, but then go to work
with a more flexible attitude
that allows for spontaneity
and visual surprises.”
Connelley’s
work has
been described as “realism
with unrealistic departures.”
She lives and works near the
ocean, with pure light and
constant inspiration.
“I like to think my recent
work is infused with the
serenity I feel here,” said
Connelley, who is a member
of Florence Regional Arts
Alliance
(FRAA),
the
Florence Events Center
Gallery Committee and an
art teacher who has worked
with local middle school stu-
dents during a six week art
class sponsored by Lane Arts
Council.

Shreve Band at the Blue Bills
Sports Bar and Tap Room on
