the Finances & Human Resources. When I am not
working I love to go Kayaking and ride my ATV.
I have 2 children & 4 grandchildren who I love
spending time with.
I like to spend time with my granddaughters, and
ride "Harleys" with my wife.
I am a new Paramedic at WLAD. I worked in
manufacturing for 15 years before going back to
school in 2013. I am married with two children,
15 year old daughter and a 12 year old son. In my
spare time, I enjoy hiking camping, and baseball.

Tom Kozlowski
Paramedic

Tom Kozlowski has worked in Fire/EMS since 2012 when he started as a
volunteer firefighter with Lane Fire Authority. He has also served Oregon
as a soldier in the Oregon Army National Guard, where he has a combined
12 years of experience, most recently as a Combat Medic with 1/82 Cavalry
Squadron. Tom was hired with Western Lane Ambulance in January as a
part-time Paramedic. At the beginning of May, Tom was brought on full
time on B shift. He looks forward to serving the community, and growing
professionally as a paramedic.

Karin Guy
Karin Guy comes to WLAD with many years of Human Resource,
Finance, Healthcare, and Executive experience. To include being
the Director of Volunteer Services at a hospital in Southern Oregon.
In her spare time, Karin enjoys training her dogs and enjoying the
benefits of living in such a beautiful community. WLAD welcomes
our newest member of the Administrative Team and looks forward
to the many contributions she will bring to our District.

"Noting this time as EMT Appreciation Week, the Melton Family has recent memory of EMT voluntary service (on the day off )
providing a most memorable trip for Mrs. Melton to Shore Acres State Park by ambulance provided by Western Lane Ambulance
associated with Peace Health Home and Hospice TLC program.
"Th e two volunteer EMT’s attended most graciously to Mrs. Melton during the entire day, telling her this was her day, and we
will provide for your wheelchair movement, go where you want for as long as you want. You are “Queen for the Day!” Th e two of
them proceeded ‘to make it so,’ participation in song, jokes (some great Shakespeare lines), a picnic in the park and time in the Gift
Shop.
