second annual Big Wave Poetry
Fest on Friday, May 12 and
Saturday, May 13, at the Florence
Events Center.
Friday will feature the popular
Spoken Word Poetry Contest, in
which up to 30 spoken word poets
will compete for over $1,000 in
prizes.
Saturday evening will bring the
premier showing of the documen-
tary “From Prison to Purpose”
featuring award-winning poet and
former Camp Florence resident
Noah Schultz’s journey from
Prison to Purpose through poetry.
Both events begin at 6:30 p.m.
