leading up to Easter during
Holy Week at St. Mary, Our
Lady of the Dunes.
Holy Thursday Mass will be
celebrated on Thursday, April
13, at 6 p.m.
Join in a remembrance of the
Last Supper, washing of the
feet, and Adoration.
The Good Friday Service, a
remembrance of Jesus’ death,
will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday,
April 14.
There will be a Passion
Reading before a time for ven-
eration of the cross.
Join others in quiet prayer
and reflection before celebrat-
ing Easter..
Easter Celebration begins at
sundown on Saturday, April 15
and an Easter Vigil Mass will
begin at 8:30 p.m.
Join in the lighting of can-
dles and joyful singing as we
rejoice that Jesus has risen and
contiues to offer us the gift of
eternal life.
The celebration will contin-
ue on Easter Sunday, with
Mass at 11 a.m and the tradi-
tional worship that shares the
message of redemption and the
possibility to renew spirit and
faith.

This year, P.E.O.’s fashion
show and brunch will be held
at Driftwood Shores at 11:30
a.m., Saturday, April 29.
In addition to the latest
fashions from local mer-
chants, Chapter DY’s major
fundraiser will include a
Silent Auction and Door
Prizes.
P.E.O., a philanthropic
educational
organization,
provides assistance through
scholarships, loans and grant
awards to assist women in
furthering their education.
Proceeds from this event
will go towards funding these
projects and others to assist
local women.
A number of local young
women have benefited from
these scholarships.
