The Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Club of
Western Lane County is seeking a dedicated Executive Di-
rector. The Executive Director will lead the organization in
fulfilling its mission of providing the needed leadership,
guidance, and inspiration to enable young people 6 -18, es-
pecially those who need us most, to reach their full potential
as caring, productive, responsible citizens.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree,
8+ years administrative leadership experience with a non-
profit agency, a demonstrated record of community-based
achievement, and successful experience in raising funds.
This position requires a working knowledge of youth-re-
lated issues, program development, strong fiscal manage-
ment skills, experience in building teams and developing
partnerships, and grant writing experience. Excellent speak-
ing, writing, marketing and public relations skills are
needed. This candidate must also have a demonstrated abil-
ity to oversee a budget and the ability to maintain effective
working relationships with the Board of Directors, staff, vol-
unteers, community partners and agency funding sources.
Position available March 2017, start date to be negoti-
ated. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
