Musical stylings of Dallas Brass coming to FEC

“Since its beginning 36 years ago,
SEAcoast Entertainment has brought
top quality performers to Florence audi-
ences,” said Linda Gargis, SEA board
vice-president.

Wednesday, March 29, when Florence
fans of brass will get a dose of the Dallas
Brass beginning at 7 p.m.
The quintet masters all aspects of the
PERFORMANCES WILL INCLUDE
brass repertoire: classical, Dixieland,
swing, show tunes and more as they pro-
vide a musical travelogue through
American instrumental history.
On Wednesday, April 26, at 7 p.m.,
SEA presents “Barrage 8,” a high-energy
dose of modern string instruments and
movement.

talent — and strings like you have never
heard them before.
On Wednesday, May 24, at 7 p.m., it
will be an incomparable night for key-
board fans: dueling pianos when “The
Piano Caméléons” will ring out the SEA
season on two grand pianos, expertly
manned by a pair of virtuoso pianists.
They revisit great classic pieces with
interpretations touched by traditional
jazz, world beat and other influences.
It will be a spectacle for the eyes, ears
and soul.

An evening of ‘Wallflowers
and Wine’ returns to FEC
Think ‘spring’ at annual
Home & Garden Show
For those seeking a night of art, wine
and shared exprience, the FEC’s
Galleries will host the popular
Wallflowers and Wine event with artist
John Leasure on Feb. 24, at 6:30 p.m.
He will once again bring his artful
experience and sense of fun to the stage
at the FEC to lead this social-style art
class.
Leasure will guide participants
through the process of creating their
own painting based on his theme for the
evening (far right). Cost is $45 and all
supplies, including paint, brushes and
canvas are provided.
The Friends of the Events Center
Gallery Committee will provide snacks
and a complimentary beverage from the
bar for artists to enjoy. In addition,
